The organizers of the three biggest FGC tournaments on the East Coast are teaming up; ECT’s “LI Joe” Ciaramelli and “Sweet Johnny Cage” Gallagher, Philadelphia’s own Eric “Big E”: Smalls as well as Final Round’s Shin Blanka are all on board for this new upcoming tournament. A venue has not been announced nor has there been a date set, but based on the records of the parties involved this venture shows great promise. East Coast Throwdown 4 and NEC 13 were two exceptional tournaments that were a pleasure to attend (FYR couldn’t attend Final Round 15) and this event promises to be a genuinely hype experience (that and their logo is pretty sweet).
The Fight Your Rival webseries has returned! If you saw the way season 2 ended, you’d know that Natal and I didn’t exactly leave things on the best of terms. Did he ever come back? Did I find a new co-host?
Witness all of the action, drama, original music, and, of course, the latest FGC news right here in the FYR Season 2 Premiere!
Andriasang.com has released high resolution images of the art and configuration of the new Tekken Tag Tournament 2 fightstick which features a greyscale portrait of Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. More than that, Hori has implemented a more 3d friendly swept row layout (reminiscent of the old SEGA Astro City cabs) this time around. Incorporating their ingenious hidden start button and full Sanwa parts makes this stick tournament worthy out the box.
PS3 Stick (Time will tell if they release it with the clown nose balltop)
Xbox 360 Stick

Watch it here:
It is a 3d Fighter with symmetrical environments, and it seems to have some sort of meter system. Either way it’s great to see JoJo return to fighting games!
On this week’s episode, Natal and I discuss the latest DOA5 news (including new character Rig!), give some EVO predictions, and show off what appears to be a hidden scene from the upcoming Spider-Man film. What is it? You’ll just have to watch and see!
